All right, so we are at the close of our plenary sessions for the day. We'll be breaking out for the rest of the day into track talks, and these have been carefully selected by your programming committee.
And unlike previous years, we'll be convening next this evening. So they walked away with the clicker. Thank you.
So a couple housekeeping notes. Expo hours begin at 12:30 today. We have a passport game. Collect all the stamps from the global sponsors, and when you get them, you then become eligible for... Can you go back to the first slide, please? For a big prize.
Industry party begins tonight at 5:30 to 7:30. So the rest of the day are track talks. The next time we'll be convening is at this industry party.
By the way, one of the things that's been really rewarding for me is I've always been fascinated by the bookshelves of technology leaders, and certain books just keep showing up over and over again, like The Goal, Good to Great. It's great to see books like The Phoenix Project, The DevOps Handbook, A Seat at the Table showing up.
So today we have a great set of book signings. And I think this is my cue that Stella's going to come out and talk about the industry party tonight. Stella Udovicic.
Stella Udovicic
Thank you. Thank you, Gene. And thank you, everyone, for being here, and thank you, all speakers today, for amazing DevOps stories.
My name is Stella Udovicic, and I'm from VMware. VMware is a proud sponsor of tonight's party, and earlier this year, VMware acquired Wavefront. Wavefront is a metrics-driven analytics platform designed specifically for DevOps practitioners such as you.
Our mission is to enable you to become true DevOps superheroes, and we do this by giving you a platform anyone in your organization can use. Thousands of DevOps practitioners at Intuit, Box, Lyft use Wavefront as their go-to platform on a daily basis.
If you want to see why Wavefront is so popular, come and see our live demo. And finally, on behalf of VMware, I'd like to invite you to tonight's party to network and to celebrate enterprise DevOps.
Thank you very much.
Gene Kim
Thank you, Stella.
So at the industry party, we are going to have book signings. John Willis and I will be signing The DevOps Handbook. Mark Schwartz will be signing his book, A Seat at the Table. So these are the books that are now in the marketplace.
We have three books coming out that are not out yet, but there are going to be early advance copies available. Dominica DeGrandis will be signing Making Work Visible. We have Dr. Nicole Forsgren signing the Accelerate: The Science of DevOps book, and then Mirco Hering will be signing the advance copy of DevOps for the Modern Enterprise.
So thank you to all the sponsors who are making those book signings available.
And tomorrow, let me just talk briefly about that. Tomorrow we're not going to have the industry party. Instead, we're going to have lightning talks, which are going to be hosted by our own John Willis and Damon Edwards from the DevOps Cafe. These are really fun five-minute talks being given by a whole bunch of really great people.
So last thing is social media. Follow us on DOES_USA on Twitter. The hashtag is #DOES17. And apparently we have a special Snapchat filter tonight during the industry party. So we have heard you.
With that, thank you so much. See you in the track talks.
