Host Intro (Gene Kim)
All right. I think we have a visual aid for this next part.
So we had planned these beautiful water bottles to give you, and they never arrived. And so I'd love to quote from the Grainger team: all the unpleasant things you have to do when something doesn't get from here to there. You don't want to talk to salespeople, don't want to be on the website: track down shipping, expediting, escalating. That's something that Marguerite Kim had to do, my boss and wife.
So they asked AI what to do, and it turns out aluminum is even more recyclable than glass and was available for expedited order. So tomorrow, outside of general session, you'll find these wonderful aluminum bottles. You can stay hydrated and don't faint in the hallways. So stay tuned for further instructions.
Jeff, figure out how to take us out.

Outstanding. Okay, so I stood up here this morning and said, have an amazing time. Who's having an amazing time? Yes. Yes.
And I've got some great news. It ain't over yet. All right, before we head over to the industry party right after this, let me share some quick information, and then we'll get going.
I'm sure you attended some terrific talks today. We would love your feedback on the talks that you did attend. You can do that directly in the online schedule. Please share that. It's so helpful to the speakers, to Gene and the programming committee. Feedback is a gift and sharing is caring.
I'm sure you also did not attend all the talks today, so we have something to help with that. That is the amazing IT Revolution video library. We'll be posting all of the talks from this summit soon, and this is an amazing resource because it has the talks going all the way back to the very first summit. So you can not only see the talks from this summit, but all of the ones that we've had over the course of the event.
People have asked about where to get the slides. This is also the place to get the slides. So you go to the talk that you want to rewatch or the slides that you want to get. The slides are linked right off of the video page right there in the video library.
You have limited access as part of your registration to that video library. If you want to extend that individual access, or if you want to share that resource with other people within your organization, we've made some ways to do that. The information is on the IT Revolution site.
Okay. Like I said, we're about to head to the industry party now. It's in the expo hall with all of the sponsors. We've learned a ton today. I'm sure I have one more lesson to share before we head out, and it's a lesson that we can learn from donuts and croissants.
You summit veterans, you know what's coming for you. First timers, just hang with me. We're all going to go over there. We're going to be standing in our groups. We're going to be sharing all the things that we've learned today, all of the ideas, all of the actions, all of the stuff that we want to try.
Take a beat and look at how you're standing in your group. Are you standing kind of closed off, making it hard for new people to enter the conversation and new perspectives to get shared? Kind of closed off like a donut? Or are you standing open, open to new people joining that conversation and sharing the perspectives, open like a croissant?
So the lesson that I want to leave you with as we head over to the industry party tonight is: don't be a donut.
Have a great time. We'll be back here tomorrow morning at 8:45 AM for a hard start for day two. Have fun.
